I am an interdisciplinary marine social scientist examining people–nature relationships in marine and coastal systems, with a focus on human rights, global ocean governance, and small-scale fisheries. My research integrates social science methods with participatory and gender-aware approaches to address challenges at the intersection of nature conservation, food security, and human well-being. My work generates impactful, high-quality science that advances knowledge while contributing directly to environmental justice.
